The Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil Mild is a lightweight cleansing oil for the first step of your evening double cleanse. It dissolves oil-based residues such as make-up, sunscreen, excess sebum and everyday impurities before a water-based cleanser is used.

The Mild version has a reduced formulation with light emollients, sunflower seed oil, heartleaf extract and rosemary leaf oil. It was developed especially for sensitive skin prone to impurities and easily over-treated skin that finds the richer original Anua Cleansing Oil too heavy or too strongly fragranced.

Upon contact with water, the oil transforms into a milky emulsion and can be rinsed off thoroughly. When applied correctly, there is usually no pronounced oily film left behind. The skin feels clean and supple without appearing overly dry.

Texture & Finish

The cleansing oil has a clear, very light, and comparatively thin texture. It can be spread over the dry face with light pressure and glides well over skin, lips, and other made-up areas.

After adding water, a thin, milky emulsion forms. With thorough emulsification and sufficient rinsing, only a soft, clean skin feeling normally remains. The "Mild" version feels less rich than many classic plant oil-based cleansers.

If too much product is used or too little water is added for emulsification, a slight oily film may remain. Stubborn or waterproof eye makeup may require a second brief application or a separate eye makeup remover.

Application

In the evening, dispense two to three pumps into dry hands and gently distribute over a dry face for about 30 to 60 seconds. Then moisten your hands and massage the oil until it is fully emulsified and milky.

Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and follow with a mild water-based cleanser. Avoid direct eye contact and do not rub the eye area vigorously.

Hanyori Tip

The most important step is not a particularly long massage, but thorough emulsification. After massaging in, add small amounts of water several times until the clear oil turns into a uniformly milky liquid.

If your skin is prone to blemishes, do not rub vigorously over your nose and chin for several minutes. A short, gentle massage usually removes residues more effectively without irritating the skin through unnecessary friction.

Notes

Only begin on dry skin and with dry hands. Incomplete emulsification can leave an oily film and be uncomfortable for blemish-prone skin.

Although the Mild version is marketed as fragrance-free, it contains rosemary leaf oil. Therefore, it is not completely free of aromatically active plant components and can irritate very reactive skin or skin sensitive to essential oils. A patch test is recommended before regular use.

The oil can dissolve sebum, sunscreen, and superficial deposits, but it does not permanently eliminate blackheads and is not a substitute for medical acne treatment.
