The patches have a soft, elastic hydrogel or jelly texture. They are soaked in a clear, slightly gel-like essence and, when placed correctly, adhere well to the eye area.

Immediately after application, a cooling and moisturizing sensation occurs. The pads may slip slightly in the first few minutes if a lot of essence adheres to them or if the skin has already been heavily treated with serum or cream beforehand.

After removal, the eye area remains hydrated, smooth, and slightly shiny. Excess essence may feel a little sticky for a short time, but usually absorbs well when patted in. Before applying makeup, the skin should dry for a few minutes to prevent concealer from slipping or settling.

After cleansing and an optional toner, remove two patches using the enclosed spatula. Carefully place one pad under each eye, ensuring sufficient distance from the lower lash line and the immediate eye area.

Leave the patches on for approximately 10 to 20 minutes. Then remove them and gently pat the remaining essence into the skin with your fingertips. Do not leave the pads on overnight and discard them after a single use.

Retinoid beginners should initially use the patches once or twice a week in the evening. If well tolerated, the frequency can be gradually increased to two or three times a week. Daily use is not necessary or advisable for every skin type, despite corresponding manufacturer claims.

Do not apply directly to irritated, injured, or severely flaking skin. Close the jar tightly after each use, store upright, and only remove the patches with the clean spatula.

Lightly wipe the patches on the inner edge of the jar with the spatula before use. This reduces excess essence on the pads and prevents them from slipping as much.

For sensitive skin, start with an application time of five to ten minutes. More time does not automatically mean more effect. If the patches are worn for too long and begin to dry out, the skin may even feel tighter afterwards.

We recommend storing the patches in the refrigerator to achieve better results for the eyes with the cooling effect.

The product contains retinal and therefore a vitamin A derivative. In the same routine, the eye area should not be additionally treated with another retinol, retinal, or prescription retinoid product. Strong acid peels should also not be used immediately in the same area.

Particular caution is required for very sensitive skin, neurodermatitis, a damaged skin barrier, or already irritated eye area. The cooling effect can temporarily make swelling appear less visible, but does not treat medical causes of pronounced dark circles or persistent swelling.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, cosmetic retinoids are usually not recommended as a precautionary measure. In case of doubt, medical advice should be sought before use.

If used in the evening, apply suitable sun protection the following morning and do not omit the eye area.
